How to reduce the probability of oxidation of copper conductor

Almost all of our country's cable plants are facing the trouble of copper conductor oxidation, from the chemical characteristics of copper, is to keep the reduction of copper. In daily production, the following measures can be adopted to reduce the oxidation probability of copper conductor:

1. Select the high-quality copper rod and standardize the supplier's transportation and delivery process and system. After the copper rod arrives at the company, transparent plastic film sealing measures shall be adopted; after the copper conductor is drawn and twisted, transparent plastic film sealing measures shall be adopted;

2. Adopt appropriate copper wire drawing process, check anneal parts of wire drawing machine regularly, give priority to wire drawing oil containing antioxidant, check emulsion concentration regularly, and replace it in advance before expiration of shelf life;

3. Copper wire stranding and extruding insulation process using passivation treatment technology.
